Bolt Action: Coastal Defence bunkerThis Coastal Defence bunker follows the R612 R680 templates for coastal defence bunkers with its distinctive flanking wall. These bunkers would most commonly house either 7. 5cm anti tank guns or 10. 5cm field howitzers and provided deadly firepower capable of striking invaders as they landed as well as at sea. The Atlantic Wall on the coastal areas of North West Europe was ringed by hundreds of these bunkers and their similar types such as the R677

This is a sturdy toy with thick fabric. I love the printing and the rope inside. My coonhound destroys anything resembling plush in a heartbeat and this is perfect for her. The weird thing is the stitching. When making something with a pattern, you'd usually turn the outsides to each other, stitch it up, then turn it "inside out" (which is then actually right-side out) and stitch up the last bit after filling or whatever. This was just put together right-side out and stitched, so it looks kind of unfinished. The stitching is solid, no complaints there, but it keeps it from being a great gift, which it could be if it was stitched better. When I looked at the pictures of the different options I noticed some were stitched like mine and some "normally". Weird. Otherwise great.
